Rolling out The new Additions!!!

So with Transformers Prime Season 2 currently on vacation on Cybertron I thought now would be a good time to show off my Transformers Prime toys that have now moved in to the collection shelf (More blog posts to come) so lets get the ball rolling :).

TF Prime toys Group Photo

The first toy I purchased from the current line of toys was the voyager class Megatron:

Megatron (Voyager Class) Alt Mode (Jet)

This one in my honest opinion is a pain in the butt to get into alt mode he speeds 99.9% in robot mode on the shelf, but in this case I had to put him into alt mode for this post.

To be honest I prefer his robot mode looks badass and looks awesomely close to his G1 state :)

Megatron (Voyager Class) Robot Mode

As you can see very badass xD.

Next on my list was a Commander Class toy I bought on the same day as Megatron and that is/was his second in command Starscream.

Starscream (Commander Class) Alt Mode
As you can see he has taken on the form of a fighter jet.

Starscream (Commander Class) Robot Mode
The alt mode on this Screamer is not his best his feet are very odd and it is difficult to stand him up at times but it is still an nice toy :).

The next toy I bought takes my Bumblebee tally to 7 (Yes I'm a Bumblebee fan :P) and was the first TF Prime deluxe toy i bought.

Bumblebee (Deluxe Class) Alt Mode
Again it looks like Bee went for the Camero style sports car it looks really sleek  and is quite a solid toy.

Bumblebee (Deluxe Class) Robot Mode
Not a fan of Bee's robot mode the shoulders don't look right and the head section does not sit right either! Other than that it is still a proud part of my collection.

The next toy from my Prime collection is the one hit wonder that is The Rock (oh sorry) Cliffjumper.

Cliffjumper (Deluxe Class) Alt Mode
I love this toy alot actually I originally thought i was gonna hate this toy but upon buying and mucking about with it a bit I really do like it.

Cliffjumper (Deluxe Class) Robot Mode
Again I love the alt mode on this toy looks badass as all hell but would love to see the "Zombie" Cliffjumper over here.

The next toy is the Autobot "Loner" Wheeljack.

Wheeljack (Deluxe Class) Alt Mode Swords under the car

Now this is my fave alt mode out of the prime toys st the moment, looks really sleek and stylish and very him!!

Wheeljack (Deluxe Class) Robot Mode
Another badass robot mode here looks fantastic and is well built!

And last but by no means least is Megatrons communications specialist Soundwave.

Soundwave (Deluxe Class) Alt Mode

Not a fan of this alt mode looks to minimal to the others but it is a very nice and sleek toy :)

Soundwave (Deluxe Class) Robot Mode (With Lazerbeak)

I really like this robot mode looks really nice and is well proportioned and stands very well given his thin and spindly legs!!

Well thats all the TF Prime toys I have at the moment!! With more to come I'm sure more will come :).

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading :)

PURE HMV Haul's

As the blog title suggests this is about the haul of goods I have gotten from the Purehmv, a scheme run by the British retailer HMV.

The scheme works like most loyalty schemes basically you earn points on things you buy instore and online, and over the last 2 years-ish I have raised tens of thousands of points. I recently received from them saying I had points that will expire so I thought I would use them.

So all in I have claimed two hauls from the scheme one from about 6 months ago and one that just came in today that I arranged earlier in the week, this blog is just a look at the hauls in question.

Postcards

These are two sets of postcards I received in the most recent haul I ordered. The six glossy postcards are image stills from movies in world cinema, and the four in the middle are "Advertizing" The Black Swan in the 1920's 1930's style.

Iphone 3GS Covers
These cover I got in my first haul six months ago when I had my Iphone it then broke a few days later they are now redundant :(. One is from Avatar (DUH) and the other is E-Hondas face paint from Street Fighter.

High Quality 10x8 Images of singers/bands
These are really nice high quality images which my camera does no justice, the two on the top are Alphabeat (Top Left) and Athlete (Top Right) I have heard a few of their tacks and they are pretty good. The two at the bottom are of the same group (I assume) called Delphic. I have never heard of them personally but woul love to hear some of their stuff.

Limited (numbered) Edition A3 posters
These four Limited Edition posters are awesome the two at the top are Lady GAGA (110/1000) and John Hurt (514/1000) are from my recent haul, and the two at the bottom are Daniel Craig (169/500) and Hideo Kojima (369/1000).

All four images have inspirational sentences one them which are all awesome and below:

Hideo Kojima poster qoute:

"Surrendered to self preservation from others who care for themselves, a blindness that touches perfection but hurts like nothing else. Isolation, Isolation, Isolation" Joy Division "Isolation"

Daniel Craig poster quote:

"Miss Jean Louise. Stand up. Your father's passin'" To Kill A Mockingbird (1962)

John Hurt poster quote:

"The truth is rarely pure and never simple" Algernon Moncrieff to Lady Bracknell in 'The Importance of Being Earnest (1895) Oscar Wilde (1854-1900)

Lady GAGA poster qoute:

"Art is what you can get away with" Andy Warhol (1928-1987)

Well thats that lol but for those that don't want to read all this below is a Vlog with said items in :) enjoy:

Thanks for reading/watching and see you all again soon :) Peace

E3 2012 Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo Round Up!

E3 2012 Round Up

Well E3 2012 is all but over and with Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo getting their conferences out of the way earlier in the week I thought now would be a good time to do my big 3 round up which will start with Microsoft.

Microsoft this year I thought was very clockwork and very SSDY (Same S*** Different Year). Those words seem harsh I know but the only good things to come from MS this year (game wise at least) where Halo 4, Forza Horizons, Gears Judgement and Fable: The Journey with the same Call of Duty exclusive deals and the same for Resident Evil 6, which in my opinion where the best bits that came out of MS this year. Below you will find trailers for HALO 4, Gears Judgement, Forza and Fable.

HALO 4

This one I'm personally looking forward to it will be one of the main reasons I will get a new Xbox, but the trailer shows some gameplay and I have to say looks fantastic. There is also a live gameplay demo on YouTube to. So Bring on Halo 4 :).

Gears of War: Judgement

Not a big fan of this series I have played the previous games and enjoyed them but after gears 3 that was it for me, but this one does look very good and I look forward to giving it a try in the future

 Forza Horizon

I will be honest here I love the Forza series BUT this one looks too much like Need for Speed ProStreet, Test Drive Unlimited and Burnout Paradise to warrant me to want to play it right away, I think I will wait for more info to drop before I cast final judgement on it.

Fable: The Journey

Again love this series and I do like the look of this and to be honest alongside Star Wars Kinect this would warrant me to get a Kinect in the future!

A couple other things Microsoft announced was their new Internet Explorer for the 360 and Xbox SmartGlass both of which are shown in the below video.

Xbox SmartGlass and Internet Explorer

Now I will be honest there are a lot of devices now using the "SmartGlass" tech out of the box and it works very well but I can't see it becoming mainstream right away, IF Sony thought about it they could contest this with their remote play feature with the PS3 and VITA. But the Internet Explorer feature looks very effective all they need to do is sort the voice command lag and it would be damn near perfect.

Well that was Microsoft's major highlights they did announce some Kinect friendly XBLA games and features but asides those nothing else to major. So now onto Sony.

Now Sony at E3 this year won it for me they announced a lot of new games before the event and showed a lot of them off here this year. The only downside to Sony's presser this year was the lack of PSVita news or features but with that said they did announce several big titles for the device, 2 of which I showed in my Multiplatform E3 round up yesterday but others that are to come are Resident Evil 6, Sony All Star Battle Royal and Even Call of Duty. Below the biggest titles that Sony showed off at E3.

To start this off we have Quantic Dreams latest title Beyond: Two Souls now I loved heavy rain in fact I'm VERY close to getting the games Platinum Trophy but looking at the trailer for Beyond it looks very Different. Find the trailer for Beyond Below.
 Beyond: Two Souls

This title looks out standing and if Heavy Rain is anything to go by I can't wait for this one, It looks a lot more Darker than HR so bring it on. With a 2013 release date looks like 2013 will be a good year for games for the PS3.

Another PS3 only title hitting in 2013 is The Last of Us looks like a cross between Uncharted and I am Legend this one looks to be another stunner in Sony's gun.

The Last of Us (Gameplay)

Now this looks epic developed by Naughty Dog (Uncharted Series) we know that this one will be epic on every scale and looking at this gameplay footage we are in for another treat.

The final BIG title to come out of Sony this year was the prequel to one of the PlayStation’s biggest franchises God of War. God of War: Ascension takes place before the original game telling the story of how he became the leader of the Spartan armies and becomes the bad as we see in the later games. Watch the full gameplay footage below.

God of War: Ascension (Gameplay)

Along with those titles Sony went on to announce a new deal on PS+ all details of which a featured in the video below:

PS+ Features 2012

With various other titles announced for PS3 and PSVita game wise Sony did well at E3 this year. I just wish it had more vita-ness.

And last but by no means least is Nintendo.

Nintendo this year was very WiiU heavy at E3 which is great they showed a lot of surprising things, one thing that really shocked me was that Mass Effect 3 will be playable on the WiiU.
The WiiU to my knowledge at least has not had its specs and price point announced officially, but I expect it to be up to scratch with PS3 and 360 specs wise and price point at about £250 in the UK. For a list of Possible specs check out this article over on NowGamer. The WiiU will have a vast list of games come launch a list of which are below:

Aliens: Colonial Marines (Sega)
Assassin's Creed 3 (Ubisoft)
Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition (Warner Bros)
Ben 10: Omniverse (D3Publisher)
Darksiders 2 (THQ)
Family Party: 30 Great Games (working title) (D3Publisher)
Game & Wario (working title) (Nintendo)
Jett Tailfin (Maximum Games)
Just Dance 4 (Ubisoft)
Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth (Ubisoft)
Mass Effect 3 (EA)
NBA 2K13 (2K Sports)
Pikmin 3 (Nintendo)
Project P-100 (working title) (Nintendo)
Lego City: Undercover (Nintendo)
New Super Mario Bros. U (Nintendo)
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (Nintendo)
Nintendo Land (Nintendo)
Rabbids Land (Ubisoft)
Rayman Legends (Ubisoft)
Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game (D3Publisher)
Scribblenauts Unlimited (Warner Bros)
SiNG (working title) (Nintendo)
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (Sega)
Sports Connection (Ubisoft)
Tank! Tank! Tank! (Namco Bandai)
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (Namco Bandai)
Wii Fit U (Nintendo)
Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013 (Ubisoft)
ZombiU (Ubisoft)

Thanks to NowGamer for the list of Games.

WiiU Game Trailers

ZombiU

 Assassians Creed III

 Zelda WiiU

Now looking at those titles it is safe to say Nintendo have really stepped things up greatly since the Wii which is awesome.

The 3DS was somewhat quiet at E3 this year it did a software showcase this week with games including Luigi's mansion 2, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Scribblenauts Unlimited and New Super Mario Bros 2. Would of been nice to see more from Nintendo this year but with the WiiU I can't say I blame them.

Overall I think Sony won E3 in my mind purely on the PS+ announcement and the games shown above followed by Nintendo with the showing of WiiU and the games it can and will run looks outstanding then Microsoft they made an impact with me with HALO 4 and Fable: The Journey but besides from that and the new browser thing nothing really grabbed me out right. All 3 had decent E3's this year I was hoping for more from each of them but what we got was good enough

E3 Multi-Platform Trailer Round Up!!

Well E3 is now in it's third day and as I write this blog post I'm thinking what will E3 Day 3 have in store for us?? and What my final E3 Round Up will consist of?? We have had so MUCH awesome things that have been shown and revealed that my gamer head has exploded countless times.

So today's blog post will be rounding up all the multi-platform trailer goodness that I liked and was shown at E3 that will surely make an impact from now till this time next year and then some so with out further ado let's do this.

First up is a Beautiful Tech Demo from Square Enix showing their new Game Engine! Now granted it is not an "IN GAME" demo BUT if this is what the games in the future will look like then damn!! Play the video in 1080p where possible:

Agni's Philosophy FINAL FANTASY REALTIME TECH DEMO

If I'm going to be honest that looks outstanding even IF it is not "IN GAME".

Next on my List of trailer of games to watch is from another popular series:

Resident Evil 6

Now from the looks of this we are getting back to the series greatness of an run down zombie infested city I'm looking forward to this one.

Next Up:

Transformers Fall of Cybertron

Also thanks to my buddy over at All Hail Starscream the boxart for the above game has also been revealed:

Now to be fair it is lacking one or two decepticons on the cover (They do win the war after all) but with that said it looks pretty nice I think it shows the games angle very well.

Assassins Creed III

Well all I will say is looks mighty fine!! I'm a HUGE fan of this series and I can't wait to get my hands on this later this year. On the subject of Assassins Creed III For all you PS Vita owners there has been a vita only AC III game announced both trailers for this are below:

Assassin's Creed III Liberation - Aveline 360

Assassin's Creed III Liberation -- Reveal Trailer

Next up is another awesome series being revitalized and that's Tomb Raider and this trailer is just bad-ass I for one can't wait for this:

 Tomb Raider

This game shows the birth of the Lara Croft we now know and love and it looks fantastic!!

My next multi-platform pick needs no real introduction but this "METAL GEAR":

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - E3 2012 Exclusive Trailer

As a fan of the series I can't wait to play this and it fills in Raidan's (Star of MGS2) story between MGS2-4 But not sure if the Hack 'N' Slash element will suit MGS but time will tell.

My penultimate pick of multi-platform goodness is from the guys over at criterion games (The same guys behind Burnout Paradise) they have taken on the Need for Speed series again this time with NFS: MOST WANTED weather it is a remake or sequel remains to be seen but if i know criterion its going to be awesome:

Need For Speed: Most Wanted

Finally it is Call of Duty Black Ops II Due later this year it will most likely make the biggest impact of 2012 below is the gameplay footage from E3:
Call of Duty Black Ops II (Gameplay)

Talking of Black Ops II there is a Playstion Vita only title coming this holiday season too the announcement below:

Call of Duty Black Ops II Declassified

And with that ends my multi-platform look at the game trailers @E3! I will do my SONY, Microsoft and Nintendo round up later today or tomorrow once all things have been posted and announced as Nintendo have a 3DS conference later today. I will also show all their first party titles there too.
